Hello world!

Mother of two and a person concerned with the overall health and well being of the general public.  As a former teacher I saw kids struggling and kids who were so successful.  Some came from the same families.  So what sets people apart and makes them strive for success while others can seem to do everything right and never get ahead.  Most people would say the luck of the draw.  I am not sure I agree.  This blog is filled with observations and interesting topics of the day.
